Creating your association

Register your resident association on BUCA and get your admin account ready. Everything — members, payments, and security logs — lives in your private workspace. Takes about 5 minutes.

Before you start

Steps

  1. Open the registration page

    Go to app.buca.my/public/companies/new in your browser.

  2. Enter your RA's name

    In the Name of RA field, type your association's full name — for example, Taman Indah Residents Association.

  3. Enter your RA's email

    In the Email of RA field, enter the email address that will manage the account. A confirmation link will be sent here — make sure it is an inbox you can open right now.

    Use a shared committee email if possible

    An address like ra@tamanlindah.com or a Gmail shared with a few committee members means the account is not locked to one person's inbox.

  4. Enter your RA's contact number (optional)

    In the Contact number of RA field, enter a phone number for the association. You can leave this blank and fill it in later.

  5. Submit the form

    Click Create RA.

  6. Check your email inbox

    You will see the message: Please check the inbox of your email. Open your email and find the confirmation message from BUCA.

    Can't find the email?

    Check your spam or junk folder. The email comes from BUCA and arrives within a few minutes.

  7. Confirm your email and set a password

    Click the confirmation link in the email. You will be taken to a page where you can set your password. Choose something secure and click Set my password.

  8. Log in

    Enter your email address and the password you just set, then click Log in. You are now inside your association's workspace.

What happens next

Your account is set up as a full committee admin. You can now manage members, payments, events, and security — everything BUCA offers is available to you.

Before residents can start submitting payments, you will need to complete a few more steps:

  1. Add your houses — import a list of units, or add them one by one under Houses.
  2. Add your members — import from a spreadsheet, or let residents sign up themselves. See Importing your data.
  3. Create a membership fee cycle — go to Membership Fee → New and set the year and fee amount. Once saved, residents can start submitting payments.

Common problems

ProblemWhat to do
Confirmation email never arrived Check your spam or junk folder. If nothing after 10 minutes, contact the BUCA team — we will resend it.
Error: "Name has already been taken" An association with that exact name already exists. Try adding your town or district to make the name unique (e.g. Taman Indah RA, Cheras), or contact us — your association may already be registered.
Confirmation link says it has expired Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. Go back to the login page, enter your email, and use Resend confirmation instructions to get a fresh link.
You registered with the wrong email address Contact the BUCA team with the correct email and we will update it for you.
